GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

2012 General Information

Registration:
Early registration begins the first week in December 2011 and runs through February 20, 2012 for the Spring 2012 season. Early registration fees for all age groups is $150. Players that register after January 20, will be assessed a $25 late fee and will only be placed on a team if there is still space. There is a $25 fee for all cancelled registrations up until February 20, 2012. After February 20, 2012, there are no refunds.
Player Age:
Creek Volleyball is open to players 5 – 14 yrs. If your child was 14 years old or younger on August 1, 2011, they are eligible to play. Team placement is determined by GRADE on August 1, 2011, not by age.
Teams:
Returning players are placed onto teams with first priority. New players with completed registration forms are placed onto teams needing players. New teams are always welcome.
Practices:
Practices will be held at various Cherry Creek Schools. They will be 1- 2 hours per week between 5 and 9 p.m. Practices will begin the last week of February.
Games:
Games will be played on Fridays and/or Saturdays. Games start mid March and run through Mid May. Schedules will be available in March and will be posted at www.aylsports.net, link to volleyball. First game will be March 10, 2012.
Uniforms:
All players are required to wear their assigned complete uniform with the correct roster number on the uniform in order to play in an AYL match. Shorts with logos, writing or colored piping are not allowed. Knee pads are strongly encouraged to be worn at practices and games. Team sock style may be determined by individual teams. You will be notified when uniforms are available for purchase from Sports Authority team sports on County Line Rd.
